Use a three-part script: acknowledge the need, name your role, offer the next concrete step. 'That's a real concern. Medication questions are for Dr. Reyes, and I can help you write down exactly what to ask and get you on the schedule this week.'

Consistency matters more than eloquence. Participants trust practitioners whose limits do not shift with mood or caseload.
